Teaching with Technology

Technology has become the most important thing in our lives today. It changed the planet entirely. Today we all do our nearly everything by using technology. It includes literally everything, like when we need something or have a problem we look our phones and solve it in a second. No doubt this makes our lives so easy. One of the fields that technology affected dramatically is education and I am going to write about this effects.

In today’s schools no matter what their level is technology is used regularly. Such as smart boards, computers, phones. It is unavoidable because we have to use technology to prepare children for future, for upcoming developments. I always supported this because the advantages of technology in education are considerably high. For example, language teaching and learning. As a teacher you can find millions of sources for teaching. You can show your students videos or let them listen different kind accents and find enjoyable activities online. These kinds of things will absolutely make teaching more practical and effective. It is not just for language teaching it can be applied to all the lessons and subject. So, it has thousands of in teaching but there are some disadvantages as well. Such as some students may not pay their attention to the teacher and want to play with their phones. This can hurt teachers and lower their motivation. Moreover, technology may reduce the importance of teachers and who knows maybe in the future we won’t need teachers in the future. Also by using technology children can become asocial and have low self-confidence. Despite these disadvantages I will always support using technology in teaching because of its limitless sources and opportunities and I will definitely use technology when I am teaching. I’m sure students will enjoy their classes more and be more active and it would make me feel happy and satisfied.
