This week’s post is about a website and its evaluation. The website that I choose is newsinlevels.com. When I was in high school, our English teacher suggested this website and told us to visit it when we have time. After that, for a while, I visited it regularly and kind of enjoyed it. It is a website that aims to convey recent news to people from different English levels. So, its target audience is EFL students and maybe some teachers. The website was founded in 2011 and since then it has been trying to keep people up to date and improve their English. I couldn’t find the person or the group that found this site. It mainly focuses on reading and listening skills. So, you can both listen or read the news. Before using the website you can take a test to learn your level for the news. Because there is 3 level section below every news. If you are a beginner you should choose level 1 and read the news that is formed for level 1 learners, if you are an intermediate you should choose level 2 and if you are an advanced you should choose level 3. This is called In Levels Method and it helps you to understand English fast and step by step. The visual and audial content on the website is just great. You can read the news with lots of supportive images and listen to them from a native speaker. These features just make everything easier and enjoyable. All of them are high-quality contents. They post news daily so you can visit it regularly and read the news when you are improving your English. You can also improve your speaking skills by choosing a person in Skype section, communicate them and talk to them about the news. When you think your English is improved you can start to use another level and try to get better. In conclusion, this website is just great it is helpful and fun. There is no error, nothing bad about it. It can be a great source for EFL learners and can be used by teachers. They can tell their students to visit this website weekly and discuss it in the class. I hope you enjoyed this post and don’t forget to check it out, I’m sure you are not going to regret visiting it.
